A tour of Peru’s Lovely Cities
Well known spots like Cuzco and Macchu Picchu are considered the Incan cities of old, while the mountain city of Ayacucho is most recently associated with memories of the Sendero Luminoso activities of years ago. Arequipa is located in the south of Peru and is better known as the ‘white city’; it offers an excellent view of volcanoes as you look out from the city. It is a nice small city with fine dining and a good nightlife with plenty of criollo music available to listen to.
