For a lot of brides out there these days, hiring a wedding planner is just not an option, and they need some good DIY wedding tips and hints to help them along the way. Here is a good tip, get with Mom and Dad first, and figure out what the budget is going to look like for each piece of the wedding. Once you know what that is, then you can begin talking to vendors, and be able to tell them your top budget. Tell them you would like to be under $X (where X is less than your top number) and as you negotiate, you’ll have a little room to go up if needed.
