Recommended approach
Some of the most durable stoves out there are Cast Iron Pellet Stoves. Cast iron appliances and items in general last a life time, often being passed down from one generation to another. The cast iron pellet stoves are no exception to this rule of thumb. The only real draw back to a cast iron pellet stove is that they, like anything cast iron, are extremely heavy so you can only have one if your home, or more specifically, your floor will allow for one. Sometimes in older homes or apartments with thinner floors a cast iron pellet stove would not be the wisest choice.
