When my daughter was in elementary school she loved her music class, and then it came time for her to try an instrument and I knew that she loved music, so she was very excited. She said she wanted to try playing the clarinet, so when they came to sell musical instruments, that’s what we picked out for her. She started on the clarinet hopeful and within two weeks she wanted to give up. I wouldn’t let her, and forced her to continue through this hard time. She hesitantly kept going, and finally got to the point to where she became first chair in band at high school.

We went into this bar at the central part of the city called Brew’s Point. I like the place a lot with so much energy and festivity all over. I also love it that they offer cheaper rates on drinks and they have a live band playing along. It makes me feel alive and kicking listening to the music of Brew’s Point. It is now my favorite place in town. One of the members of the band who played the Conga drums was actually my classmate in college. He has been able to hone his musical interests to the next level indeed. He is an amazing man to be able to play with his band while having an office job at one bank.

Parading up and down the streets in old fashioned clothing sounds like fun. But here in New York, it’s all American fashion – as you might expect. I’d love to travel to Britain and grab a taste of Edwardian London, which to me seems like the pure Edwardian style. London is what you think when you consider the Edwardian period, and there are a great many buildings and constructions from that period still being used in the city. I suppose, thought, that wandering around in historic fashion might not go down well in a modern city, so perhaps I can find some special event where I can dress up!
