Attorneys Have Many Specialties
When I was flipping through the phone book the other day I was surprised to see the wide variety of different kinds of attorney’s listed. There were adoption attorneys, divorce attorneys, bankruptcy attorneys, federal drug crimes defense attorneys, business law attorneys and many others. I had not realized that law was such a specialized field. I suppose that makes sense, though. Laws can be so complex and vary from state to state and between state and federal laws that in order to be extremely good at what they do it pays to focus on a specific area of law rather than trying to know everything.
