The Spectacular Smoky Mountain Nature
I am drawn to the Great Smoky Mountains which I feel are stunning and spectacular in a unique and remarkable way. They have an original uniqueness about them that is hard to describe. That is why I want to spend time photographing the Smoky Mountain nature. Whenever I am in the Smokies I sense a sense of being enclosed and immersed in an environment that seems comfortable; almost like being home. The Cherokee named it the land of blue smoke long before the white man arrived.My ancestors were Cherokee and maybe that is why I sense a oneness with these mountains. Whatever it is I feel it is something that pulls me back time and again to explore and film this area. It is always with great expectation that I come to the Smokies hoping to find something unexpectant and take home a treasured photographic image. I have never been disappointed by visiting this wondrous place. I will return again and again and invariably with great anticipation of what it may reveal to me.
